Mod Permissions

This has been a topic that seems to have been trending when it comes to my work lately (at least my first one) It seems the Christmas Set I made has had a much better reception then even I expected. I had low expectations so I am happy that many have liked it.

Because of this I have noted that many have asked to convert to other games/ body types and stuff.
So I want to talk about permissions.

For the time being I do plan to make an official notepad of the Rules and for each mod. Sadly it may be strange but for the most part I will make rules depending on situation. The rules below should always be considered mostly over other rules because these are the rules that are Safest and can easily over rule other rule sets mentioend in the notepad (which will eventually be linked with a posting of any updated rules)

 When it comes to my general permissions I make these rules because there is a lacking of them.

The General rule of thumb is not to use any of my work (Except the SMBTRA, BDM, Suicup and SMSuicup bodies, as those are open domain)  without permission from me. You can do what you want so long as it is not publicly distributed. Now if you plan on public releases I ask you PM me either here, on LoversLab or Nexus on your planned usage for the mod. I know it might sound silly but I kind of have my rules on it. Keep in mind many of my mods (ATM since I am still learning) are still works in progress and I prefer to perfect them before I allow users to "change" them.

If I do approve of usage, I just ask to be created where ever appropriately and not to be insulted, many times I see Converters/Modders fix up on another modders original work and they make statements such as "Fixing up HappySparkles horrible cutting of the string" etc stuff like that does not deserve the right to use the originators work, so if I do approve (let alone other modders) try to respect the time and effort they put into their work.

My main thing for the mean time is just Ask me before you use it. You can do work on it if you'd like and show me pictures in your proposals. Pictures do sell me well ;).

Lastly,  (For mods that are open to discussion) Exceptions exist.
 Anyone who contributes (helps me) on SPECIFIC mods can use the mod how they please so long as it is them using it and they refer others to me for permissions and ofc credit me. Those whose MAJOR resources I use Like the Body have also 100% free permissions.  If you fall under this category I will let you know during our transaction how that would work.

HAPPY NEW YEARS / Resolutions

But since it is New Years depending on where you are I want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEARS

This is a quickly made model I was working on.
I might release it when completely done but not sure.

 (Notice I always use ANB Textures for starters xD) it is quick to navigate to haha!

Some Resolutions
Hopefullythey will all be conquered but like any resolution the chances can be low.  

•  One of the first things I want to do is try to release more mods this year! 
• Become even better at 3D moddeling
• Learn to script
• Finish some of my olderworks
• Release a HS Fashion compilation
• Do The Big Project
• Release an Seductive compilation
• Release holiday related mods for various holidays.       
• Work on and maybe Complete my own armor/ clothing replacer.
• Make more mods more often (after summer mainly cause of College)   
•  Create 2 new body types from Scratch (Ground up)  
• Make a Swimsuit Mod 
• Lingerie Mod 
• More other things unmentioned.  

Hope this will be a good year for my mod releases.  

HappySparkles Christmas 2012 Release

Ok, here it is. Thank you all for your patience. This is the official beta release of the HappySparkles Sui Cup Santa outfit AKA Christmas 2012.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the quality of mod this is. I think I could have done better had I been better prepared. The mod none the less is nice but simpler then I originally planed. Because of this I will go in and continue to work on this mod and some how will make an even BETTER one next year (Permitting I get better). This is my first official Self made mod, so I am a bit nervous of the reception it will get but I will gut it up and post it ><. I was even convinced to do Nexus X_x (we'll see how that goes). Here are some screenshots.

 

The mod itself is located in imperial city and is in a box (X) marks the spot on the map.

So with that being said I officially welcome you all to my first mod.
It may not be the best but I hope in the future this is the one that is remembered to set my self a start.

Updates: This mod WILL be updated but it will only be released on my blog.
I WILL make this mod better even if I have to do a Christmas in July kind of thing X_X.

BTRA Micro Bikini Release (Appetizer)

I know me and the ANB Bikini are always going at it. I am officially Technically done with it (for now), This mod release is only an appetizer for the real release (the Christmas Outfit which is being tested now) I played around with a Low Variant (which are shown in some of the screens) but decided to Scrap it (for now) it is not looking like I want all around so for now I will just keep the regular version. Maybe when I release OTHER mods a few times I can come back to it and release more but for now I am so totally done with it. I may eventually jump back on it / force a release if outcry for it is noticeable. But for the time being I am going to focus on releasing my next mod and working on the big project. I am hoping to have the big project done by next year. I will say though Original plans were to release it for the BTRA Female and Sui Cup Female and Transsexual. I am not sure I will do BTRA Transsexual for the Big Project because I have held back the original requester (who has been EXTREMELY understanding)

Santa is Almost Set

The Santa set is almost complete! I spent the whole time from my last post to bang out the Top for the Santa Outfit. I want to expand on it, but I might just keep it simple for now and do it only for blog readers. I am not sure it will be PERFECT by Christmas since the hands have a little gap that is noticeable when looked up VERY closely but not a bit issue. It also has clipping but I will fix that like ASAP just being lazy. But that will be fixed RIGHT away.  Now the other issue is the clippage in the boots. I feel the hand issue is going to take at most 5-10 minutes. The boots I think I have a solution for them so I will have to incorporate it. Now the Kicker. The Panties, many notice that in the screen the character has panties, I even got all festive and made Candy Cane Panty texture. Sadly I will not be including that, instead it will be a simple red and white thong. I am doing this because I plan to use those panties in the future. Just have not had time to make a bra to go with it.

 With that being said I will get back to work. What I will do I think is make the Necklace (maybe a 5 Minute process) and it will cover up as an Amulet. I might do something somewhat creative with that. Though it will be simple as the rest of the outfit. This outfit will definitely be released Here and very highly for Lovers Lab. I am not sure I will do it on the Nexus, I am not fully noting it but more then likely it is a no. The female and transsexual types will share the ESP but for the Female type it will not contain the files for the Transsexual Body type since as I mentioned before I refuse to expose those who are not into the Transsexual body type to seeing it. Another reason why I am not sure I will do this on Nexus.

Santa's Gloves

So I finished another piece of the Santa outfit. I pretty much have most of what I need. What I am going to work on today is the Top. What I originally was going to do was add the outfit as a top and bottom but I think I am going to do a throw over and make the top just upper body that goes down to the lower body.  With that it will solve the panty issue someone, but of course if I released more lowered body mods it would be better. I will release this together with the transsexual ANB. ANB will not be available via nexus because I have posted this set a zillion times. But anyway I will also use the first pair of thongs I ever made (They came out decent too for someone who did not know what they are doing) Next year I will make sure I am more prepared for Christmas modding.  Because this will look a little rushed. Thanks to finals it cannot be helped sadly.

 This is where things will be "fun" this is the part where I have to make the two separate. The female body will be the base and I will extend and use Gerra6's Lattice System, it makes conversions easy. Just need to play around with a few variables and kaboom you got a nice fit. ;)

So with that being said it's seems it is time for me to get to work *cries* I must finish this in a few days. I might want to add a neck collar too. This is something I am/was saving for next year but I will do this year. Though I might again next year as well. Next year I have a little more creative and better outfit(s) planned. 

Santa Boots

Yesterday I continued the work on the Santa Boots. I had some trouble with them over all too. One of the things I had to deal with were these dim verticies. After trying all kinds of strange things to make it brighter I got frustrated and just pressed W and clicked Flip Normals by chance and it worked! I can't believe it took me so long to do that!


This Set is a little rushed sadly so I could not improve on them. I want to make the boots more creative. But I will save the hooker boots for another mod set. Also I do not want them to be too much like other mods. Today's plan is to work on the Arms.

 Pardon Sumiko's Pubic hair, kind of am experimenting a bit with the hairy body. (I personally like a little hair on the girl but many would kill me over that statement) I kind of forgot to change back before the screenshots were taken @_@.

So far we have hat and boots. The boots themselves have a little too much clipping in the knee area, when using pose mods and when jumping. It is something I really want to fix but I also want to keep the look of the boots. I actually make the Boots on the BTRA body then I will weight them to the Sui Cup on Release, that way it will be easier to fix up. For the most part the BTRA body and SuiCUp share features just the BTRA waist is a tad bit smaller and the hips are a bit wider. Also the legs are thicker. I also fixed the Santa hat. Now the hat looks better and I thickened the wool to make it more compatible for users of bigger hairs and smaller ones too. Of course as seen here there is some clipage in the hair but remember I am not going to focus on the Biggest of hairs, but instead a perfect balance. 

I am debating on doing a small poll that will close VERY soon. I am going to do Arms today but I will be also doing panties. Now do to time constraints I might release my scrapped thong panty mod that I first did way way back when I first started modding. Maybe add some Christmasy design to them then release. But I am not sure, I mean I am no judge but I feel fuller panties would be more appropriate for the outfit I am doing.  If anything I will consider anyone who takes the time to post about it either here or message me on Lovers Lab on their choice of Panties.

Anyway Back to work I am going to try to make something cute with the arms.
Next year when I am a better modder I will make an even better Christmas set :D

Santa Progress

I had some major issues yesterday but today I think I finally figured them out and got to the point where the game does not crash now when I put on my Santa hat.

 The hat is OK but for what ever reason Blender was giving me a Major hard time to get the hats textures to work right. I actually tried to make it more wooley but I think that that might be beyond my current expertise

 The hate does look workable. This might be my first official custom mod that I will release. But I must warn the hat does NOT work for every hair. I kind of focused on some of my favorite hairs. But I want to keep it realistic for those who want to put it on a lesser haired girl.

 Where the issues show up is the ball of the hat. It looks too vetixy. I was kind of lazy to learn how to make a full circle so kind of went with the overly verted default. So if this one thing bothers you about the official release sorry >< None the Less I have 9 days to magically pull out something. I may do it I may not. I have the idea in mind but it might be rushed and it might show in the mod. This is something I fear. I really want my releases to be as precise as possible cause I want those who use my custom work to want to come back. Releasing glitchy work won't convince people that I can make a good mod. Sigh I wish I had the Skill set of Speedbuster or ColourWheels. Their work just is so perfect, it makes modding look easy, I guess I can keep practicing and maybe I will get there ;)
